LockMuse (“LockMuse”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use the LockMuse app and website at lockmuse.com.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your email address when you create an account.
- Generation data — the short text prompts you enter and the wallpapers you generate.
- Usage data — basic app and site analytics (device type, app version, and in-product interactions) used to improve the product.
- Payments — subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
We do not collect your contacts, photo library, precise location, or web browsing history.
2. How we use your information
We use it to provide and improve the service, deliver the wallpapers you generate, manage your account and credit balance, prevent fraud and abuse, and send you important service updates.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: service providers that run our cloud hosting and AI generation infrastructure under contract; the app stores, for billing; and where required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your associated data, subject to any retention we are legally required to keep.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hi@lockmuse.com.
6. Children
LockMuse is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-party services
Wallpaper generation runs on third-party AI infrastructure, and payments are handled by Apple and Google. Their processing of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
