Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the LockMuse app and website at lockmuse.com. By using LockMuse, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

LockMuse lets you browse and download a curated gallery of anime lock-screen wallpapers for free, and generate your own wallpapers using AI from a short text prompt. Generating a wallpaper consumes credits.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for all activity that happens under it. Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.

3. Subscriptions, credits & billing

  • Browsing and downloading the gallery is free, forever.
  • Generating wallpapers uses credits. Paid plans (such as Pro) are recurring subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and auto-renew until cancelled.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law or by store policy, payments and credits are non-refundable, and unused monthly credits may not roll over.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use LockMuse to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit involving minors, or that violates the rights of others. You also agree not to abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.

5. Wallpapers you generate

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use the wallpapers you generate for your personal use. You are responsible for the prompts you submit and for ensuring your use is lawful. AI output is provided “as is” and may not be unique to you.

6. Intellectual property

The LockMuse name, app, website, and curated gallery are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to the app itself beyond ordinary use of the service.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated art will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LockMuse is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue using LockMuse after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the LockMuse operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
